1 foot of bird.

Stages in an illustration I am donating to The Washington Center for the Performing Arts for their fall fundraiser auction "26 feet of art". 26 pieces by 26 artists each 12"x12".

I was trying to create an altocumulus mackerel sky with some wet on wet technique. I think it turned out pretty good even in grays.

I paint through the desert a horse with no name.

2 stages of a horse. Trying to come up with an idea for an auction donation that should support the arts and get good press. I don't think this one is it, but I like the little cloud.

Wolfman and Bird

Ink wash drawing of Miko "Wolfman" Elvin and a bird. The Elvin/Luz family gave me some watercolor postcards as a gift so I'm trying to make use of them.

Bird in flight

A donation to The Birth Attendants: Prison Doula Project for their silent auction fundraiser. An great group who provide support to the incarcerated mother during birth. They are often the only person in the room who talk to the mother, or uses the mother's actual name during labor.
